Drawing the line

Some of the companies we have worked with in this space:
The “Creating a Respectful Workplace” is a very well researched module which has been carefully constructed by a team of professionals who are experts in the field of Learning & Development, lawyers working on similar issues and NGOs operating in the field of sexual harassment awareness and prevention. It is a perfect balance of audio visual engagement, participant interaction and clarity through involvement. The module ably assists companies in sensitizing and educating the employees about the emotional and physical ramifications of sexual harassment both on the aggrieved (the one getting harassed) and the aggressor (the one who harasses). It also seeks to inform them about the legal implications of such acts under the Sexual Harassment Law . Three extremely powerful and communicative films, form the cornerstone of this entire module. They facilitate the understanding of the Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013. The module also provides an insight into our gender biases and making us aware of our prejudices. It also allows the participants to witness and understand the effects of harassment, ways to prevent it.

Where She Goes, I Follow

This film portrays the unwanted physical, verbal and non verbal conduct of a manager towards his female junior, the resultant sexual harassment of the junior and the outcome.

Malefina

A consensual relationship between a manager and his reportee ends on a bad note, and managerial impropriety becomes the mistaken grounds for sexual harassment.
The Module can be availed by organizations in three formats:

One section is designed for the Internal Committee (IC) members of the organization. The elaborately made films showcase the various misdemeanors covered by the law, the IC’s responsibility in the organization, and the intricacies of investigating a case of sexual harassment.

The Employee version gives the participants an overview of the law. The films which form the foundation of the module give a detailed perspective on the effect the sexual harassment has not only on the recipient, but also on the organization as a whole. The module’s discussion style allows the participants to debate and speak about their views on the subject, thereby encouraging them to open their minds to embrace a more evolved mindset regarding gender equality and sexual harassment.

The Employee module is also available in an e-module format, easily accessible from their own workstations. Please see the details below on how to access the demo emodule.
